Kainchi Dham is a peaceful spiritual retreat located in the Kumaon hills near Nainital, Uttarakhand. Established in 1962 by the revered saint Shri Neeb Karori Baba, the ashram has become a significant pilgrimage site for devotees from across the globe. Surrounded by lush green forests and the flowing Kosi River, the ashram offers a serene environment ideal for meditation and inner peace. Neeb Karori Baba, lovingly known as Maharaj-ji, was a spiritual teacher whose followers included many renowned personalities like Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg. The ashram is especially popular during the annual bhandara (community feast) held on 15th June, attracting thousands of visitors. Devotees come here to seek blessings, perform seva (selfless service), and experience divine energy.
